HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I updated my site with 200+ photos ranging from August to December 2007. Check out the link to the left that says LATE 2007 to view the photos. On December 20th thru 23rd I went to Chicago to see some snow and shoot a bunch of stuff in the city, see below:

Paramore launched their new website, and since they put up two of the new press photos we did in Chicago, I can post the two on here. There's a ton that we did, so as they become public I'll start posting them on my site with other updates.

Mike Kinsella of Owen / American Football

Two of my all time favorite bands are American Football and Miracle of 86. I never got to see American Football or Mike's solo project, Owen. I met Kevin back in the summer of 03 when I helped Miracle of 86 get a show here in Birmingham. I didn't really take that many posed photos back then, so none of Miracle. Both of these guys were on my 'top 10 dudes I want to take photos of' list. Oddly enough, they were on tour together with Andy Hull of Manchester Orchestra.

I had to go over to Atlanta in early October to do some photos of Chris from Dashboard for an AP feature. Here's an extra from the shoot and a live shot.

In the next update I'll post the photos from being on tour with Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie.

the Almost came through in April with Paramore at the Masquerade after the show the band and I went over to Chris Dudley of Underoath's for grilling and sleeping. The next morning:

----------------------

Originally, I was going to fly to Louisville two days after I got off tour with Ben Gibbard and go 5 days with Maylene and the Sons of the Disaster on their tour with Underoath, Norma Jean and the Glass Ocean. Instead I flew to Louisville, hung out with a friend from Indiana and went to the show. BUT then flew to Chicago the next day to hang out with a special lady friend for a couple days. So blame her. Here's some of the photos hanging out before the show and during:

Underoath

Maylene and the Sons of Disaster

I was with the Fall of Troy for two days in Birmingham and Atlanta. I can only post two of the live images at this moment. The others are going to be used for something specific that I will tell you about later. We did some group shots a few places in Atlanta too.

News:
All of these photos were taken from February 22nd to Februrary 25th. It began in Birmingham for the Black Lips / Fatal Flying Guilloteens at Bottletree and then the tour continued on to Atlanta at Whirlyball. After the 23rd, the BL/FFG show moved on to Athens, and Mastodon played Centerstage on the 24th. While in Atlanta I met up with Jake from Norma Jean to do a few photos and eat burritos, and eventually we ended up at Gladys Knights Chicken and Waffles. On the 25th, my TBS boys played Birmingham with Underoath and Armor for Sleep. It was amazing seeing them again, even though it had only been two months since we did those press photos in Tampa. If you live in Lowell, MA or the surrounding area, I think I'm flying up for the TBS show there in April for my birthday. All these sentances do not make sense.

Back in December, Taking Back Sunday flew me down to Tampa to shoot new press photos of them for the tour coming up this month. At the time I could only post the My Chemical Romance photos (see older news), but here are a couple of the press, live, and random photos.

Taking Back Sunday

After the shoot, the radio station they were playing a festival for never sent over a van to pick everyone up, so the hotel shuttled us over while Adam sang Christmas carols.

Right before time to go on...

I shot some really horrible live photographs that I wasn't going to post.

About 2 weeks ago, I had to fly down to Miami to shoot Poison the Well's press photos for the new album. I had only been to Miami once before and it wasn't very enjoyable, but this time with the band was a blast. We went to Little Havana to do most of the photos and to a rad place called Versaillies for lunch, it ruled, but I couldn't read the menu. Since the photos are for magazines and such for the new album, I can only post an extra photo from the set.

Poison the Well

The night after the Posion the Well photoshoot, I hopped a plane over to Tampa to shoot photos of Thursday and Fear Before the March of Flames the next day.

Three weeks ago I went over to Atlanta to do Cartel's new press photos for the Cobra Starship tour. Go look at their new site, www.cartelrocks.com
Here's two of them:

Cartel

In December I flew out to Los Angeles to do photos of a two day Comedians of Comedy show. I can't post any of the photos till the dvd comes out of the show, but during one of the days Patton did some press photos and I can post two of those. There were about 40 altogether, you will be seeing the rest very soon when press of his new comedy album starts coming out, on a label you know and love.

Patton Oswalt of the Comedians of Comedy

Here's the Cross photo already posted from the LA show:

David Cross of Mr Show / Arrested Development

Chasing Victory

Back in like October or November I went down to Andy Jackson from Hot Rod Circuit's studio and did some press photos of Hot Rod Circuit. Somehow the update got lost in the news and they were only posted for a short while, so here's a couple...

Just before Maylene and the Sons of Disaster we did about 5 hours of press photos for the new albums to go along with all the photos from the album photoshoot. Here's a few random ones:

I am adding the final part of the 2006 photo sections called "actually late 2006" itll have 60-70 of the best photos from sept - dec 06. I will be posting a huge update with alot of new stuff next week. Until then, here's one new of Fear Before the March of Flames soundcheck in Tampa, Florida from last week and a photo of David Cross from the Comedians of Comedy show in Los Angeles back in December.
